Hello! My name is Sam Padula and I am fascinated by information processing. After graduating with a bachelor's and master's in math, I took a deep dive into mnemonics, which required me to explore for breadth within the biological, machine, & statistical learning literatures. For the majority of college, I was an eager experimental biologist and had zero interest in math. Now, for my Ph.D. research, I aim to singularly focus on understanding the biology of learning, memory, and inference.
